地球大気化学研究室

私たちは、地球大気において重要な気体成分やエアロゾルの計測ならびにモデル技術の開発、生成・反応メカニズムを明らかにする室内実験、地上・船舶・航空機・衛星プラットフォームを用いた時空間変動の観測、排出・輸送・変質・沈着のシミュレーションを行い、それらを通じて対流圏・成層圏の物理・化学プロセスや、大気と海洋・陸域との物質交換を理解し、地球規模大気汚染および気候変動との関係を解析する研究を行っています。また、得られた科学的成果の政策的含意をまとめて、日本および国際的な気候変動・環境の政策立案に活かし、環境面から世界の持続可能性の推進に貢献しています。
