Climate Policy and Science
Relevant institutions in Japan contribute to providing observational data and disseminating research findings related to greenhouse gases (GHGs), collaborating with domestic and international partners across the chain of systematic observation, research, and assessment. This scientific evidence is iteratively integrated into policymaking throughout the Paris Agreement ambition cycle.
About Us
The Japan Greenhouse Gas Center (Japan GHG Center) aims to consolidate GHG-related information and scientific findings across organizations and to establish a framework for sustained and strategic emissions reduction efforts, through strengthened collaboration with relevant organizations in Japan and abroad.
